Bachelor in Paradise couple reveal IVF success

Reality television star Astrid Loch and partner Kevin Wendt have revealed they are expecting their first child after a fertility journey

The US Bachelor in Paradise alumni and her partner announced the news to her 478,000 Instagram followers.

The post told how the couple having children was one of their first conversations.

It said: “One of the first conversations @kevin.c.wendt and I had was about how we both loved kids and couldn’t wait to have our own. When I think about Kev holding our little angel for the first time my heart flutters. Even in my wildest dreams, I couldn’t have imagined how amazing this would all feel.

“To all the couples trying to get pregnant, my heart is with you. We know firsthand how hard it can be to see these kinds of posts and feel sad and discouraged. We too struggled with fertility and conceiving naturally – it is the toughest thing we have ever been through and I can’t wait to share more of how we got here. But today is finally about some good news and we hope you can enjoy it with us.”

Astrid appeared in the 21st season of The Bachelor but was eliminated in week four.

Kevin appeared in the first season of The Bachelor Canada and won.

The pair met on season five of the hit reality show but split during filming. They rekindled their romance soon after and moved to Toronto in 2018.

They had planned to marry in 2021 but due to the pandemic have pushed the date back.
