Do you live in North Central London? Are you interested in access to fertility services? Well, this is the perfect time to have your say as the Clinical Commissioning Group for the area is reviewing its fertility policy
North Central London CCG has been conducting a review of its fertility policy and it is keen to have local people engage with them.
The CCG is hoping to encourage people to offer feedback on how they might help shape future policy decisions.
Residents have until Friday, July 9 to give their views and thoughts in an online survey, which can be accessed here.
A final online meeting is also being held on Thursday, June 24 from 5 to 6.30 pm, and to register, click here.
The policy review is being conducted following the merger of five NHS CCGs in April 2020 and the need for a single fertility policy.
An NCL CCG spokeswoman said in a statement to IVF babble: “The first stage is a review to understand considerations and produce recommendations to inform the development of a single NCL fertility policy.
“No decisions will be made at this stage, but rather, the recommendations will inform the second stage of developing a new, single NCL CCG Fertility Policy.”
The CCG has said there is a dedicated Fertility Policies Review section on its website. Feedback can be given via an online questionnaire (hard copies can also be requested and then sent back to a Freepost address).
The five existing Fertility Policies are available on the website and a slide deck highlighting the variations between the policies. There is also an email address: nclccg.fertility-review@nhs.net and telephone 020 3688 2038.
If you have any questions, please direct them to nclccg.fertility-review@nhs.net and the team will respond as soon as possible.
Will this review affect you? What is your opinion on creating a single fertility policy? We’d love to hear your views, email mystory@ivfbabble.com.
