Two US law firms, Clifford Chance and Cooley, are set to offer their UK staff fertility packages for the first time
Cooley Solicitors will offer UK employees a £45,000 fertility package, which looks set to include egg freezing and IVF after joining forces with Carrot.
It is offered to all London employees and their partners who want to have a child or preserve their fertility for the future, including single people and LGBTQ+ individuals and couples. It will also cover the cost of surrogate mothers being required.
Clifford Chance has said it will extend its fertility package to its UK solicitors after a successful roll-out in its US offices.
The health insurance package will cover fertility investigations and treatments up to the cost of £15,000 and is offered through the healthcare app Peppy.
Cooley partner in London, Sascha Grimm, said: “The firm supports all paths to parenthood and we are proud to partner with Carrot and enable our employees and partners to access the very best of fertility and family-forming services available.”
The fertility packages are thought to be some of the most generous to employees across the globe.
Does the firm you work for offer a good fertility package or nothing at all? We’d love to hear your thoughts, email mystory@ivfbabble.com.
