US singer Halsey has given birth to a daughter with boyfriend Alev Aydin
The 26-year-old Without Me singer announced the news via Instagram with a sweet photo of the new addition to the family, which they have named Ender Ridley Aydin.
The singer, whose real name is Ashley Frangipane, has long documented her struggle with endometriosis.
And before announcing this pregnancy, Halsey revealed she had suffered a miscarriage while performing in 2016.
Halsey revealed she was pregnant in January with a cute post of her growing baby bump.
In previous interviews, she had discussed her battle with endometriosis and how she was planning to freeze her eggs for fear the condition could prevent her from conceiving.
She underwent surgery in 2017 to help manage the condition and has been an avid advocate for endometriosis and getting rid of the stigma attached to having the disease.
In 2018 she gave a heartfelt speech about living with endometriosis at the ninth annual Blossom Ball, hosted by the US Endometriosis Foundation.
In announcing the birth on July 14, she said: “Gratitude. For the most ‘rare’ and euphoric birth. Powered by love.”
We wish the new little family much love and congratulations.
