This green shot is packed with vital nutrients to boost health and fertility. It’s high in fibre, vitamins A, C and K, potassium, folate, and more! It helps strengthen your immune system, gives you an energy boost, manage your blood sugar, is anti-inflammatory and helps with digestion.
Why this is such a healthy boost for your fertility
Avocados – are amazing and are packed with more than 18 nutrients- including vitamin E, are a good source of healthy monounsaturated fats and contain a small amount of carbohydrate so great for helping balance sugar levels.
Spinach -also provides a good amount of vitamin e, along with folate, vitamin c, vitamin A and iron.
Green apples– packed full of plant chemicals, including the flavonoid quercetin which has anti- inflammatory action. Apples are low in calories, a great source of vitamin c and potassium and also contain pectin, a ‘soluble’ fibre that can help to lower ‘bad’ cholesterol .
Ginger– Great for giving shots a kick but also to help alleviate gastrointestinal issues, plays a role in reducing inflammation in the body, supports the immune system, rejuvenates skin and increases energy levels. It also contains anti- microbial properties. Ginger contains many important nutrients and vitamins including vitamin C, B5 and B6, along with a good amount of the mineral’s potassium, manganese, copper, and magnesium.
Lemons – are abundant in vitamin C and flavonoids, both powerful antioxidants, important in preventing free radical damage to cells, supporting the immune system, for skin health, increasing iron absorption from food, weight loss and the prevention of scurvy.
