Former Page Three model Rhian Sugden has revealed the devastating news her fourth round of IVF has failed
The 34-year-old has been having fertility treatment for several years after doctors told her she had a low egg reserve for someone of her age.
She told her 466,000 Instagram followers: “Been feeling blue. Had a hell of a tough few weeks. For those that have been following my journey, IVF round 4 failed but it’s now time to pick myself up and carry on.
“Being in the public eye and trying to keep a brave face on is harder than it looks but I’ve done it many times before and I will do it again.
“It’s time to stick on my best undies., get myself back to normal and get back behind that camera and do what makes me happy. Big shout out to my support network. You’re the best. #ivfwarriror.”
Rhian is married to Coronation Street star, Oliver Mellor, 40, and was told in 2019 she had the egg reserve of a 45-year-old.
“Being told you might not be able to have children is heartbreaking,” she said at the time. “I don’t like the pressure that people put on women to have children and I don’t like the pressure I put on myself.
“I struggle to answer questions about when I am going to start a family – even though I know the questions come from a good place, I hate being asked it. All I can say really is that I’ve tried and I can’t.”
The couple married in Turkey in 2018 after getting engaged in 2014.
