The 5th Annual Canadian Fertility Show Will Host Its Virtual Event Saturday, on February 5 2022, to help the one in six Canadian couples struggling with fertility

The show is designed for anyone looking to expand their family through natural pregnancy, medically-assisted pregnancy, and adoption. The event will feature a wide variety of keynote speakers who are specialists in their fields, all focused on the promotion of healthy family development.

“One in six couples in Canada have difficulty conceiving,” says Dr. Jodie Peacock, N.D., event organizer and one of the highly anticipated keynote speakers. “I’m organizing this show to let people know they are not alone. There is a significant amount of support and resources available to help those struggling with fertility concerns by optimizing their own fertility or to exploring alternative options.”

It is a great opportunity to access fertility optimization and family development resources together. There are similar shows running in Europe, but this is the only  show of this proportion in Canada. Peter trained at Cambridge University under the supervision of the co-inventor of IVF and Nobel Laureate Professor Sir Bob Edwards FRS. Marcin Smietana - Reproductive Researcher

As a sociologist, I have been doing research with LGBTQ+ families in the UK, US and Europe for almost a decade and a half now. To further the cause of reproductive justice, I have also been using my research for the benefit of LGBTQ+ families as well as people who help them have children, such as surrogates, donors and others. I am a senior research associate in the Reproductive Sociology Research Group at the University of Cambridge, where I have been since 2016, following my postdoc research at UC Berkeley and PhD at the University of Barcelona.
