Morning mango smoothie bowl

Why not start your day off in a vibrant way with this nutritious and delicious Mango, Orange and Turmeric Smoothie Bowl…. sprinkle it with some of your favourite fruit, nuts and seeds and reap the nutritional benefits.

Mango is great for the gut, low in calories and high in many nutrients including vitamin C, beta carotene, zinc, folate, and fibre – all of which are beneficial to health and fertility.

Oranges are rich fertility friendly nutrients including vitamin C, iron, zinc and folate and help to support the immune system and keep skin healthy and glowing.

Turmeric contains a powerful compound called Curcumin which has antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.

Top it off with some nuts, seeds and more fruit for protein, fibre and many other important vitamins and minerals! Feel vibrant!! This recipe is also great with a banana or ½ avocado added.

Ingredients:

150 g frozen mango

2 oranges (peeled)

1/2 inch turmeric (peeled and chopped into smaller pieces)

250ml oat milk (or milk of your choice) or natural live yoghurt

Pinch of cayenne pepper

Whizz altogether in a smoothie maker or with a blender and pour into a bowl- decorate with extra fruit/nuts/ seeds… enjoy!
