A man who has fathered 129 children in the UK has talked about his motivation to help people with fertility issues
Clive, 66, travels the country helping people and told This Morning presenters, Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary that he does it because he wants to help people achieve their dreams.
He said: “The cut-off age is 45. It’s about DNA damage as people get older so that was my first worry.
“I feel sorry for these people. I could relate to them myself. I knew from a teenager I was going to have children.
“But it’s about helping. Wouldn’t it be nice if we all lived in a world where we helped each other? It’s not really difficult for me to provide this.
“And the reward – the messages I get make it well worth it.
“People will contact me through Facebook when they are ovulating. Then it’s my job to get there that same day.
“I pull up in my van one street away, pull the curtains around, produce the donation, and then I call them to tell them I will arrive in a few minutes.
“It is as simple as that. I may get a call two weeks later to say it hasn’t worked so we go again.”
Meeting and using a sperm donor on a social media platform is completely unregulated. IVF babble would always recommend using the services of a clinic regulated by the UK watchdog, Human Fertilisation and Embryology Authority (HFEA).
