UK actress Jessica Brown Findlay chose International Women’s Day to announce she was going through her fourth round of IVF
The 32-year-old who played Lady Sybil Crawley in the hit period drama Downton Abbey took to Instagram to reveal the news in a candid video she posted of her injecting the daily hormone shot she needs to stimulate her body to produce eggs.
The eggs will be retrieved once they have matured and will then be used to create an embryo with her husband Ziggy Heath.
She accompanied the video with the post: “Happy International Women’s day!
“We do hard things and then go dancing. IVF has made me even more aware of just how much women are capable of and what we can achieve whilst going through pain and heartbreak.
“Your body is not the enemy. Love it. No matter what.
“Sending love and support to every woman I have ever met and all the ones I haven’t but know what this is.
“I thoroughly recommend doing it all in Vintage Clothing.
“Love. Love. Love.”
Jessica began dating Ziggy in 2016 and the couple married in 2020.
