Couples across the UAE who are low on the earnings spectrum will be provided IVF treatment free of charge
A new charitable initiative has been launched between the Emirates Red Crescent and Mubadala Health to help those vulnerable couples.
Those eligible will be given access to HealthPlus Fertility network of Centres and satellite clinics across the UAE.
Dr Mohammed Ateeq Al Falahi, Secretary-General of Emirates Red Crescent, stressed the importance of the initiative in allowing couples who are struggling to conceive to benefit.
He told the Khaleej Times: “We are pleased to launch this initiative, which will open the door for childless couples to seek the assistance and the medical care they might need to help them to conceive.
“Couple with limited income, who are in need of such treatments, are required to register and submit a formal application, along with some official documents.
“Eligible couples will be contacted and advised to visit one of the HealthPlus Fertility centres in Abu Dhabi or Dubai with Red Crescent covering their treatment cost from the proceeds of donations received through the initiative.”
