Irish reality television star Brian Dowling has revealed he is in talks to have a documentary made about his road to parenthood
The 43-year-old and his husband, Arthur Gourounlian recently announced that Brian’s sister, Aoife had offered to be their surrogate and was pregnant.
The couple has been very open about their wish to become parents and the barriers and tribulations they have faced along the way.
Brian told the Irish Mirror: “We are potentially in talks about doing something. Yes, more local in Ireland. Obviously with the option to sell to whoever wants it and to the UK or whatever.
“I just think because of situation is quite unique and the fact that it is Arthur and I and my sister, we have talked about that. Obviously, there is a time issue on that, and we’ll be making a decision on that really soon.
“There is a lot of interest, which is really understandable because of what we are doing and the dynamics of this.”
The couple used a donor egg as Brian did not want his sister to be the biological mother.
They know who the father is, but are choosing to keep that a private matter.
Brian took to Instagram to reveal that the pair were to be parents.
He said in the interview that he was ‘really excited’ and ‘cannot believe it is actually happening’.
The baby is due in September.
