Selling Sunset star Mary Fitzgerald is urging her followers to think about their own fertility after she revealed hers has taken a disappointing turn
The 40-year-old and her husband, Romain, have been on a fertility journey to have a child together since they married during the second season of the hit Netflix show.
Mary and 30-year-old Romain have been candid about their desire to have a child and talked openly about her egg freezing journey.
The realtor, who has a 23-year-old son from a previous relationship, recently updated her 2.1 million Instagram followers how their fertility treatment was progressing.
She said: “This was definitely not the news we were hoping to get, and while it is super disappointing, we are just keeping our heads up. Please consider doing this at the youngest age possible if you know or think you want to have children. Sharing my experience in hopes of helping anyone who is interested in doing this process.”
In a video accompanying the post, Mary said she had her egg retrieval but the eggs that were retrieved were not aa good enough quality to create embryos.
She said the couple was now back to ‘square one’ but they wanted to keep positive.
