Hollyoaks’ star Jessamy Stoddart is pregnant after fertility struggle

UK actress Jessamy Stoddart has revealed she is pregnant with her first child with her husband Ryan O’Gorman followinf fertility issues

The 29-year-old announced the news to her 105,000 Instagram followers with a cute photo of her baby bump and a short post about her journey to becoming pregnant.

She said: “Baby O’G, you are so loved already. Our little rainbow is due in December 2022.

“Getting to this point has been a journey for us – the road to parenthood often is, so to anyone reading this heavy-hearted on their own baby journey, I see you and I feel you.”

It appears to suggest that the couple has experienced some issues with fertility and shares her hopes for others going through a similar time.

Her co-stars were quick to congratulate the couple, including Jogie Porter, who simply said: “Love this.”

And Jennifer Metcalfe, a mother-of-one, said: “Beautiful. Congratulations.”

Jessamy, who has played the part of Liberty Savage since 2018, tied the knot with Ryan in 2020.

Peter trained at Cambridge University under the supervision of the co-inventor of IVF and Nobel Laureate Professor Sir Bob Edwards FRS. Marcin Smietana - Reproductive Researcher

As a sociologist, I have been doing research with LGBTQ+ families in the UK, US and Europe for almost a decade and a half now. To further the cause of reproductive justice, I have also been using my research for the benefit of LGBTQ+ families as well as people who help them have children, such as surrogates, donors and others. I am a senior research associate in the Reproductive Sociology Research Group at the University of Cambridge, where I have been since 2016, following my postdoc research at UC Berkeley and PhD at the University of Barcelona. I’m Jodie and I am a Health Sciences Research PhD student that is focussed on Health-Related Quality of Life in people with Endometriosis (crazy I know right) and founder of the charity Endometriosis South Coast.
