UK television presenter and relationship expert Anna Richardson has talked about her plans to have children in her 50s
The 52-year-old has discussed her determination to have a child despite menopausal symptoms causing havoc.
She said menopause has been ‘hellish’ and even though that was going to stop her from having a child naturally, she was looking at other options such as adoption or surrogacy. Though she was still weighing up her options.
She told Closer magazine: “I’ve started those baby steps by looking at adoption. I’ve also thought about going down the surrogacy route or if I would want an egg donor and sperm donor.”
Anna spoke about reaching 46 and menopause hitting her with anxiety and depression, then the brain fog which left her struggling to finish sentences when speaking to someone.
She said she is through the worst of it and has put her toe back in the dating pool.
She has been dating someone new a year after splitting from partner Sue Perkins but did not reveal who that special someone was.
Anna revealed that she feared she may never have a family after splitting from the comedian.
