Australian influencer Brooke Hogan has got candid about her IVF journey and the heartbreak of her failed IVF cycles
Brooke and her husband, Myles Pitt, will welcome their first child in July, but her journey has not been straightforward.
The 30-year-old Next Top Model star, 30, was talking on the KICPOD podcast to host Steph Claire Smith and said the hardest part of her journey was the first negative pregnancy test.
She said: “I was naive on my first time because I had 12 eggs and I thought ‘I’m gonna get seven or eight embryos’. We ended up getting to day five and we had five.”
Soon after she had her first embryo transfer, but it wasn’t to be.
Thankfully, the couple had a happy ending as the second transfer worked.
She announced the news on Instagram in January with a sweet post.
She said: “Baby Pitt is due in July. Myles and I are so excited to be welcoming a little bebe into the world.”
