At the age of 42, Gemma Collins Finds Inspiration In Tana Ramsey’s Happiness Of Welcoming A Baby At 49

British television personality Gemma Collins has expressed her admiration for Tana Ramsay (wife of Gordon), applauding her for embracing motherhood at the age of 49

Gemma, a former star of “The Only Way Is Essex” (TOWIE), joyfully shared her happiness for Tana and Gordon Ramsay as they welcomed their sixth child. Touched by Tana’s journey, Gemma, who has been candid about her fertility challenges in the past, now looks toward her own path to motherhood at the age of 42.

In an interview with the MailOnline, Gemma shared her excitement about Tana’s unexpected news, stating, “The Tana Ramsay news was the greatest thing to wake up to. Incredible. It really made me think positively about my future and kind of took the pressure off.”

Having experienced a miscarriage in 2012, Gemma is set to embark on her fertility journey in the coming weeks, heading to a clinic with optimism and determination.

Reflecting on her emotions, Gemma expressed, “This is amazing news for me. I’m starting my fertility journey within the next couple of weeks. I’m going to a clinic, so watch these cards and get ready for me, honey.” She humorously added, “I’ll be standing on those steps announcing the child to the world. London will go to a standstill. The great Queen will come and greet the child!”

Chef Gordon Ramsay surprised fans with the announcement of the birth of his sixth child, Jesse James Ramsay, earlier in the month. Sharing a heartwarming photo, Gordon celebrated the newest addition to the Ramsay family. Gemma, inspired by this news, looks forward to her own journey to parenthood with fiancé Rami Hawash.

Gemma and Rami, having expressed their hopes for a baby earlier in the year, embarked on a spiritual trip to Tel Aviv in January. Visiting Bethlehem, Gemma revealed, “I did pray when I was there, I said ‘please God, please give me a baby this year’ and you know please God it happens.” The reality star, diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), understands the challenges of fertility but remains optimistic. PCOS, a hormonal disorder, can impact fertility and is characterised by symptoms such as menstrual irregularity, excess hair growth, acne, and obesity.
