Katie Price baffled her fans by sharing a snap of twin babies on her Instagram Stories on Tuesday – as she prepares to star in a Channel 4 documentary about her IVF struggles.
The former glamour model, 46, captured two twin newborns, one wearing a pink romper and the other one wearing a grey one. She was seen posing her hand gentle placed on the tots, although their faces were not visible.
It is unsure whose kids they are, but are not her sister Sophie’s – who revealed in July she was pregnant with a girl.
Her update comes after Katie sparked concern among fans earlier in the day, as she looked noticeably thinner while modelling a stylish cardigan for an Instagram clip.
But the TV personality exclusively told MailOnline that her drastic weight-loss is the result of a new gym regime, after sparking concern from fans.
Following the concern a representative told MailOnline: ‘Katie has always been tiny and she’s recently been enjoying going to the gym more and getting herself into a routine with exercise etc which has beneficial for her overall well being.’
It was no less than Katie’s ex Carl Woods to confirm the star is currently filming for her IVF documentary earlier this month.
The Celebrity Big Brother star previously allowed cameras to follow her journey of having a baby with ex Carl Woods, 35, before they split in 2023.
Carl told Closer magazine he and Katie chose a surrogate together, who suggested they go to Cyprus to give it a go, before they split.
And now, judging from their recent trip to Cyprus, insiders believe Katie’s recent trip to the island with boyfriend JJ Slater was a ‘top secret baby-making mission’.
‘She has exhausted all IVF attempts and channels in the UK, and is hoping this is the start to expanding her family.’
The fly on the wall documentary, which will reportedly air next year, will also feature all of Katie children but TV insiders have said JJ won’t feature.
A source told The Mirror: ‘We’ll see Katie go on a tough journey to become a mum again.
‘She faces lots of obstacles, ups and downs along the way. The programme will shine a light on the struggles women face while trying for a baby in their 40s.’
MailOnline has contacted Katie and Carl’s reps and Channel 4 for comment.
The OnlyFans star previously revealed to MailOnline that she has experienced three failed rounds of IVF in the past year, she said: ‘My eggs are too old, I’ll get a donor egg’.
Katie is already a proud mum to son Harvey, 22, with former footballer Dwight York, son Junior, 19, daughter Princess, 17, with her first husband Peter Andre, and son Jett, 10, and daughter Bunny, nine, with ex-husband Kieran Hayler.
The TV personality previously told Olivia Attwood on her podcast: ‘People have got to realise it doesn’t matter if I act young or if I look younger, your body is still 46, and your eggs get less and they get older and it’s harder.’
Loose Women and Love Island star Olivia then asked: ‘But you definitely want another one?’
Katie replied: ‘Or two. It’s going to happen one way or the other. I don’t know how or well and I will, I’ll try.’
The use of donor eggs in IVF cycles has increased by 30% over the past decade
As more women face the ticking biological clock, especially in their 40s, the consideration of using donor eggs is becoming increasingly common. For someone like Katie Price, who has been transparent about her struggles with fertility, this option opens up new opportunities.
Katie Price’s journey highlights a broader trend. Many women in similar situations are weighing their options as they deal with the dual challenges of age and fertility. By openly discussing donor eggs as a viable pathway, Katie is helping to destigmatize the conversation around fertility treatments.
In her upcoming documentary, Katie promises to dive deep into these struggles, shedding light on the stories of women who go the donor eggs route. She tackles not just her own story, but the myriad experiences women face when trying to expand their families later in life.
This shift is significant for women in their 40s who are continually exploring new avenues to realize their dreams of motherhood, despite biological constraints.
Whether through IVF with donor eggs or other fertility treatments, the journey is emotional, intensely personal, yet increasingly communal, as more stories like Katie’s are shared.

When’s a good age to consider egg freezing?
Egg freezing can be a vital option for preserving fertility, especially for those who might want to delay starting a family. While there isn’t a universally “perfect” age, many experts suggest that the earlier, the better. Ideally, women in their late 20s to early 30s are encouraged to consider this option if they’re looking to safeguard their reproductive future. This is because egg quality and quantity tend to decline with age, impacting their viability later on.
Freezing eggs at a younger age can offer a valuable option to those who may decide to delay having a child in their 40s.
It’s always beneficial to consult with a fertility specialist to understand personal options and timelines tailored to individual needs.
